Sixers Defeat Spurs, 132-130
The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the San Antonio Spurs, 132-130, in Orlando on Monday.

It took 11 ties and eight lead changes to determine a winner in this game, with Shake Milton hitting a game-winning three with less than 10 seconds remaining. The Spurs actually overcame a 14-point fourth quarter deficit to grab the lead with less than a minute remaining but couldn't hold on. The Sixers ended up out-assisting the Spurs, 26-21. That allowed them to shoot 53 percent from the field and 49 percent from three-point range while holding San Antonio to 49 percent from the field and 46 percent from long range.

The Sixers (40-27) were led by Joel Embiid, who tallied 27 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Tobias Harris totaled 25 points, six rebounds and four assists. Josh Richardson accrued 19 points and two assists while Milton generated 16 points, five rebounds and three assists. Ben Simmons played just 25 minutes, providing eight points and five assists before fouling out.

The Spurs (29-37) were led by DeMar DeRozan, who collected 30 points, five rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Derrick White had 20 points, two rebounds and three assists. Dejounte Murray accumulated 13 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals while Rudy Gay led the bench with 24 points and four rebounds.

Both teams will return to action on Wednesday, with San Antonio playing the Denver Nuggets and Philly facing the Washington Wizards.
