Nuggets Throttle Thunder, 126-96
The Denver Nuggets defeated the host Oklahoma City Thunder, 126-96, at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Saturday.

Denver started this game on a 19-4 run and never looked back from there. In fact, they rode a 38-20 first quarter to their wire-to-wire win, holding a double-digit lead for the final three quarters and leading by at least 20 points for the entirety of the second half. The Nuggets shot 55 percent from the field and 48 percent from three-point range while holding the Thunder to 42 percent from the field and 23 percent from long range. Denver also out-rebounded Oklahoma City, 49-37, while out-assisting them, 30-24.

The Nuggets (18-15) got another triple-double from Nikola Jokic, tallying 18 points, 11 rebounds, 13 assists and two steals. Jamal Murray led the team with 26 points, two rebounds and five assists. Michael Porter amassed 20 points and 10 rebounds while Will Barton collected 15 points, six rebounds and five assists. None of those guys played in the fourth quarter.

The Thunder (14-20) were led by Darius Bazley, totaling 22 points and four rebounds. Shai Gilgwous-Alexander collected 13 points, five rebounds, six assists and two blocks. Al Horford had just six points, five rebounds, two assists and two blocks. Isaiah Roby led the bench with 15 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and two steals.

Denver returns to action on Monday, traveling to face the Chicago Bulls. As for Oklahoma City, they're off until Wednesday when they play the Dallas Mavericks on the road.
