DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Tuesday brings a light schedule in the NBA with only three games. Even though there are limited options to choose from for your DraftKings entry, that doesn't mean you still can't have a big night. Here are some players to consider that will hopefully help earn you some money.

Guards

Ben Simmons, PHI vs. SAC ($9,500): Simmons fell one assist shy of a triple-double against the Bulls on Monday but scored 54.3 DraftKings points with Joel Embiid (rest) sidelined. While Embiid is expected to return Tuesday, it shouldn't hurt Simmons much. The Sixers play at the fourth-fastest pace (103.4) in the league, leaving Simmons with plenty of opportunities to be productive.

Khris Middleton, MIL vs. CLE ($7,300): Middleton continues to thrive since the Bucks traded for Eric Bledsoe, scoring at least 30.5 DraftKings points in nine straight games. He is averaging career-highs in minutes per game (37) and usage rate (24.6%), which is usually a recipe for success. With 20 points, seven rebounds and 11 assists in his last game against the Cavaliers this season, Middleton could be primed for a valuable performance.

Bogdan Bogdanovic, SAC at PHI ($4,300): The Kings have been one of the more frustrating teams this year, from a fantasy perspective. They have inconsistent rotations and change their starting lineup frequently, so it can be hard to pinpoint who to play on any given night. That being said, Bogdanovic has played at least 30 minutes in four straight games, scoring at least 21.5 DraftKings points three times. He's been dialed in from behind the arc, hitting 13-of-26 three-pointers over those four games. Take a chance on him Monday based on the limited cheap options available.

Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL vs. CLE ($11,400): Giannis has dominated the Cavaliers in the two games he's played against them this season, averaging 37.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.0 blocks. That shouldn't be much of a surprise based on his stellar production overall. His 33.1% usage rate is fifth-best in the league, making him a great option again Tuesday even at this lofty price.

Dario Saric, PHI vs. SAC ($6,100): Saric stepped up with Embiid resting Monday, scoring 43 DraftKings points against the Bulls. It continued his recent run of success as he now has at least 30.5 DraftKings points in five straight games. His production will likely take a hit if Embiid returns, but he can still provide value as he won't cost a significant amount.

Mike Scott, WAS vs. NO ($4,500): Scott has become a crucial member of the Wizards bench, playing at least 24 minutes in four of the last five games. He's scored at least 30 DraftKings points in three of those five games, taking full advantage of the opportunity. The Pelicans allow the second-most points per game (111.7) in the league, so consider taking a chance on Scott based on this cheap price.

Centers

Joel Embiid, PHI vs. SAC ($9,900): The key to this is that Embiid plays. As long as he returns Tuesday, he should be set up for a big performance as the Kings allow the second-most DraftKings points per game (59.1) to opposing centers. Monitor his status throughout the day and if he is cleared to return, you should strongly consider adding him to your entry.

Kevin Love, CLE at MIL ($7,800): Love has put up some big games lately, scoring at least 40.3 DraftKings points in five of his last 10 contests. He played very well in his first two games against the Bucks this season, averaging 24.5 points, 14.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. Between Embiid, DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis, there are a lot of excellent high-priced options Monday at the center position. If you want to save a little money and still get someone with great upside, Love is an option.

Richaun Holmes, PHI vs. SAC ($4,400): Holmes isn't just seeing added minutes when Embiid sits, playing at least 20 minutes in six of his last seven games. He's been productive, scoring at least 24.5 DraftKings points in four of those games. Even if Embiid returns Tuesday, the Sixers will still be without Trevor Booker (ankle), opening up a few extra minutes for Holmes. He might be the best cheap option at the position Tuesday.
