DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Tuesday brings a big night in the NBA with 11 games on the schedule. Let's get right down to business and take a look at some players at various price points that could help you create a winning DraftKings entry.

Guards

Jrue Holiday, NO vs. CHA ($8,200): Holiday had a rough performance when Anthony Davis was injured and did not play Friday against the Wizards, finishing with just 15.8 DraftKings points. He played only 28 minutes in that blowout loss, which went a big way towards limiting his production. With Davis back now and healthy, Holiday followed that up with 47.5 DraftKings points Sunday against the Jazz. Opposing defenses have a hard time focusing on Holiday when Davis is on the floor, resulting in Holiday scoring at least 44.8 DraftKings points in each of the last four games that Davis has played. Don't expect the Hornets to be able to slow him down Tuesday.

Nicolas Batum, CHA at NO ($7,100): Batum has come on strong down the stretch, scoring at least 30.8 DraftKings points in 10 of his last 11 games. Although he's only averaging 14.2 points per game in March, he's provided a lot of value by his ability to contribute in other categories, also averaging 7.8 rebounds, seven assists and 1.8 three-pointers over that same stretch. The Pelicans play at the second-fastest pace (102.6 possessions per game) and allow the second-most points per game (111.7) in the league, leaving Batum with a high upside in this game.

Tyler Dorsey, ATL vs. OKC ($4,100): The Hawks have lost Kent Bazemore (knee) for the season, which should open up more playing time for Dorsey. Dorsey has already played at least 25 minutes in four straight games, scoring at least 23.5 DraftKings points twice. He shot just 17-for-51 (33.3%) in those four contests, but the good news is he's getting plenty of shots. If he can shoot for a higher percentage Tuesday, he could out produce his price tag.

Forwards

Anthony Davis, NO vs. CHA ($11,200): After missing a game with an ankle injury, Davis returned Sunday to score a whopping 73.3 DraftKings points against the Jazz. He played 40 minutes in that contest, so he looks to be fine moving forward. With a usage rate of at least 31% in back-to-back months, Davis has been worth his lofty price tag. Don't hesitate to pay up for him again Tuesday.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, LAL vs. DEN ($6,100): Caldwell-Pope has been a consistent contributor for the Lakers lately, scoring at least 32.5 DraftKings points in 10 of the last 13 games. He's seeing a ton of playing time with the Lakers lacking depth right now, logging at least 38 minutes in five straight games. He just scored 33.8 DraftKings points against these same Nuggets on Friday and is a viable option for their rematch.

Corey Brewer, OKC at ATL ($3,900): Brewer is establishing himself as an important player for the Thunder, playing at least 28 minutes in three straight games. He's taken advantage of his new role, scoring at least 20.8 DraftKings points in each contest. He had his best performance Monday against the Kings, scoring 31.5 DraftKings points in 33 minutes. At this cheap, he's worth considering in tournament play.

Centers

DeAndre Jordan, LAC at CHI ($7,900): There are few players in the league who can control the glass like Jordan does, who has grabbed at least 15 rebounds in six straight games. He fell one point short of a double-double Saturday, but had posted one in each of the previous five contests. Tuesday brings a great matchup against a tanking Bulls team that has allowed the third-most DraftKings points per game to opposing centers (59.6) in their last ten games.

Larry Nance Jr., CLE at PHO ($7,000): Nance is starting at center for the Cavaliers with Tristan Thompson (ankle) sidelined and has scored at least 36.5 DraftKings points in three of his last four games. Had the Cavaliers not been blown out by the Lakers in the second half Sunday, limiting Nance to 26 minutes, he likely could have reached that mark in four straight. The Cavaliers and the Suns are two of the worst defensive teams in the league, leaving Nance with the potential for a valuable performance Tuesday.

Brook Lopez, LAL vs. DEN ($5,800): The injury to Brandon Ingram (groin) has forced Kyle Kuzma to play more minutes at small forward, opening up added playing time for Lopez. Lopez has thrived with the added minutes, scoring at least 33 DraftKings points in four straight games. He scored 43.8 DraftKings points against the Nuggets on Friday and is a cost-effective option to consider again for your entry.
