Eric Rogers
Slot BackSB
Solid as starting slotback
SBCalgary
June 16, 2019
Rogers recorded four catches for 43 yards in the Stampeders' 32-28 loss to the Redblacks on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Rogers resumed his starting slotback role to open the season and performed reasonably well, even though he couldn't deliver with any of his trademark big plays. The 28-year-old is only two seasons removed from a career-best 87-catch, 1,488-yard, 10-touchdown campaign in 2017, so it's reasonable to expect fantasy-friendly numbers if he can remain healthy. That wasn't the case last season, as a knee injury limited Rogers to nine games. He'll look to avoid the bug this season and build on his Week 1 numbers when he faces the Lions following a Week 2 bye.
