RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden caught six passes for 79 yards in Thursday's 27-3 win over the Redblacks.

Jorden was productive early and often in this one, as two first-quarter catches set up the Stamps' first score of the day, a one-yard run from Romar Morris. The Bowling Green product has at least four catches in each game this season and only once has he totaled less than 76 yards. He will look to keep producing when Calgary hosts Montreal in Week 6.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden reeled in five passes for 76 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 24-14 win over Ottawa.

Jorden has at least four catches in each game this season and it seems that as he goes, so the Stampeders offense goes. The 29-year-old was targeted four times in the first half, but could only come down with one reception and the Stamps' drives stalled. He added a couple more catches in the third quarter before hauling in a deep ball for a 32-yard touchdown to make it a two-score game. With so many mouths to feed in the Calgary offense, Jorden will have his ups and downs, but he has a high ceiling in any given week.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden notched four receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown in the Stampeders' 28-14 win over the Tiger-Cats on Saturday.

Jorden's reception and receiving yardage totals were both tops on the Stamps for the night, a fitting start to a season in which the fifth-year receiver is expected to make another leap forward. The Bowling Green product set new career bests in catches (52), receiving yardage (717) and touchdowns (six) for the second consecutive season in 2017, and he'll look to take on an even larger role this season. Jorden will undoubtedly play a pivotal part of the offense once again in a Week 2 Grey Cup rematch against the Argonauts.

December 15, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden will return to Calgary after agreeing to a deal with the team Friday, Danny Austin of The Calgary Sun reports.

Jorden is set to be an integral part of the puzzle for the Stampeders in 2018, especially with DaVaris Daniels potentially making the jump to the NFL. During this past season, Jorden played in 10 games, recording 52 receptions, 717 yards and six receiving touchdowns, while adding another score on the ground.

October 28, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden managed six receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 29-20 loss to the Eskimos.

The 28-year-old posted six catches for the second straight week, bringing his three-game total in Weeks 17-19 to 17 receptions for 193 yards and two scores. Jorden had made major strides in the early portion of the season before suffering a knee injury, and it's therefore encouraging to see him returning to a certain level of prominence as the regular season comes to a close. He'll look to finish the campaign on a strong note when the Stampeders tangle with the Blue Bombers in Week 20.

October 21, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden caught six passes for 68 yards in Friday's 30-7 loss to the Roughriders.

He's posted solid but not outstanding numbers in two games since returning from a knee injury, but Jorden's production has been hampered by the struggles of Bo Levi Mitchell and the entire Calgary offense rather than any failing on his part. If Marquay McDaniel (undisclosed) is able to return to the lineup next weekend in Edmonton, however, that could also cut into Jorden's production.

October 13, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden (knee) totaled five receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 28-25 win over the Tiger-Cats.

Jorden had last taken the field in Week 6, and he wasted no time making a splash upon his return. The 28-year-old wideout made an impressive leaping 25-yard touchdown grab in the fourth quarter that erased an 18-17 deficit and looked to be back to full health overall. Jorden been on an impressive run prior to getting hurt, as he'd posted at least 71 yards receiving in five of his first six contests. He'll look to put together his first 100-yard effort since Week 4 against the Roughriders in Week 18.

October 12, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden (knee) will return to the field Friday against Hamilton, Danny Austin of the Calgary Sun reports.

Jorden was recently reinstated from the six-game injured list this past weekend, and will finally be able to suit up for the first time since Week 6. It appears as though he will return to his spot in the starting lineup, as he's sitting atop the depth chart going into Friday's contest.

October 10, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden (knee) could return to action Friday against the Tiger-Cats, the Calgary Herald reports.

Jorden was activated from the six-game injured list Sunday, which moves him one step closer to taking the field for the first time since Week 6. The Stampeders will see how he fares in practice this week before deciding whether or not to activate him this week, but if he does play Friday, expect him to reclaim his spot in the starting lineup.

September 11, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coach Dave Dickenson said Jorden (knee) is expected to practice at some point this week.

Jorden was placed on the six-game injured list at the start of August, but continues to progress in his recovery and is nearing a return to practice. As soon as he's able to log a few practices without any setbacks, Jorden could get the green light to return to the field, so keep an eye out for his availability over the rest of the week.

August 2, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden (knee) was placed on the six-game injured list in advance of the Stampeders' Week 7 matchup with the Argonauts.

It was reported earlier this week that Jorden was headed for the six-game injured list, and the Stampeders indeed did just that. A six-game absence would lead to a Sept. 24 return for Jorden, but it remains to be seen exactly how long he will be sidelined. With Jorden sidelined, DaVaris Daniels will move to a starting slotback position, and both Anthony Parker and Marken Michel will also occupy spots among Calgary's starting set of pass catchers.

July 31, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Head coach Dave Dickenson announced Monday that Jorden is likely headed to the six-game injured list.

Jorden injured his knee in Saturday's victory over the Tiger-Cats, and it appears the setback will cost him several more weeks of action as well. This is a tough blow for all invested parties, as Jorden was off to a fast start with 31 receptions for 468 yards and four scores through five games. Marken Michel and Anthony Parker are candidates to play an increased role in Jorden's absence.

July 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden totaled eight receptions for 88 yards in Saturday's 27-10 win over the Riders.

Jorden led all pass catchers on the night with his eight receptions, and tied teammate Marquay McDaniel for the high-water mark in receiving yards. The Bowling Green product has notched no less than 71 yards receiving in any of his five games and has posted between six and nine receptions in the last three. The 28-year-old has formidable competition for targets in the form of McDaniel, DaVaris Daniels and Lemar Durant, but he's clearly developed a high level of rapport with the prolific Bo Levi Mitchell. He'll look to generate another dynamic performance against the Ti-Cats in Week 6.

July 14, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden caught nine passes for 140 yards in Friday's 30-23 loss to the Alouettes.

Although he was held out of the end zone for the first time this season, Jorden made up for it with a career high in receiving yards. He's been Bo Levi Mitchell's most dynamic target so far in 2017, and the 28-year-old seems poised for a breakout campaign.

July 8, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden caught a team-high six passes for 97 yards and a touchdown and added a second score on a one-yard run in Friday's 29-10 win over the Blue Bombers.

The 28-year-old came into 2017 with just three TDs in 12 career CFL games, but Jorden has exploded for five scores (one rushing, four receiving) through three games already this season. Given the talented targets available to Calgary quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell it's highly unlikely Jorden will be able to keep monopolizing the end-zone action, but at the very least he's emerged as a viable weekly fantasy option in the CFL's most potent offense.

June 30, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden totaled 71 yards and two touchdowns on his three receptions in Thursday's 43-39 win over the Redblacks.

The 28-year-old has proven quite adept at finding the end zone over the first two weeks, as Thursday's pair of scores allowed him to already match the career-high three he hauled in over nine games in 2016. Jorden's second touchdown grab of the night, an eight-yarder with 3:26 remaining, gave the Stamps such much-needed breathing room after the Redblacks had closed their deficit to three points. The Bowling Green product appears to be building on the momentum he generated last season, when he turned in career bests in receptions (42) and yards (580). He'll look to keep trending in a positive direction against the Blue Bombers on the road in Week 3.

June 23, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden caught five passes for 72 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 31-31 tie with the Redblacks.

Just as he did last year, Jorden begins the campaign by scoring in Week 1, but hopefully this time he can stay healthy and build on his early success. The 28-year-old had played only 12 games in the CFL over three seasons coming into 2017, and there's no telling what his ceiling might be as a key cog in a very potent Calgary passing attack.

June 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden is listed as a starting slotback for Friday's season opener against the Redblacks.

Jorden scored in Week 1 last year and then provided almost nothing between Weeks 2-13 due to injury and ineffectiveness, but he closed the season on a high note, totaling at least 52 receiving yards in every game the rest of the way. He will look to carry that success over to the 2017 campaign and entrench himself as a fixture in the Stampeders' passing attack.

November 28, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden caught five passes for 75 yards in Sunday's 39-33 loss to Ottawa in the 104th Grey Cup.

He saw an expanded role after Marquay McDaniel injured his shoulder in the first quarter, and Jorden took advantage of the opportunity. He'll head into 2017 as only a depth option for Calgary, but he showed this season that he has the ability to produce when called upon.

October 22, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden caught five passes for 53 yards in Friday's win over the Argos.

He's having a strong finish to the campaign, catching 33 passes for 426 yards and two TDs over the last five games. Marquay McDaniel (leg) could be held out of the Stamps' final regular season game Oct. 30 in Montreal, so look for Jorden to be a big part of Calgary's passing game once again next week.

October 11, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden collected 117 yards and a touchdown on eight catches in Monday's 48-20 victory over the Argos.

The third-year wideout teamed with DaVaris Daniels to almost single-handedly derail the Argos through the air, tallying a game-high eight catches, including a spectacular diving 41-yard scoring grab late in the first quarter. Jorden now has 100-yard efforts and touchdowns in two of his last three games, while posting career-best numbers across the board this season.

October 2, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden managed 69 yards on six catches in Saturday's 36-17 win over the Ti-Cats.

The 27-year-old followed up his breakout nine-catch, 126-yard performance in Week 14 with another solid effort, notching a 37-yard reception in the process. Jorden has been a vital component of the Stamps offense since returning from injury, with 15 catches for 195 yards and a touchdown the last two weeks.

September 25, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden totaled 126 yards and a touchdown on nine catches in Saturday's 36-34 victory over the Blue Bombers.

The talented Bowling Green product exploded for his best game of the season, serving as a frequent and reliable target for Bo Levi Mitchell throughout the contest. Jorden opened the scoring with a five-yard touchdown catch from Mitchell on the game's opening drive and also hauled in a pivotal 14-yard reception in a last-gasp drive that led to a Rene Paredes game-winning field goal. With Saturday's performance, it's clear that Jorden has Mitchell's trust and consequently, a key role in the offense moving forward.

September 10, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden (undisclosed) is on the depth chart for Saturday's game against the Eskimos.

Jorden spent the last several weeks on the injured list, but he will have a chance to play Saturday. He has been a game-day scratch several times, however, so he is still not a lock to take the field.

August 19, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden (undisclosed) remains on the injured list and won't play Friday against the Lions.

Jorden hasn't been productive since early in the season due to the undisclosed injury that has kept him sidelined at times. Bakari Grant and Marquay McDaniel will continue to be the top slotback options.

August 12, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden (undisclosed) is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Roughriders.

Jorden was a productive option earlier in the season, but has since been sidelined for an undisclosed reason. Bakari Grant will continue to start at slotback in Jorden's absence.

July 29, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden is inactive for Friday's matchup with the BC Lions.

Jorden posted six catches for 101 yards and a touchdown in Calgary's first two games of the season, but has since been inactive for their games. He remains behind Bakari Grant on the depth chart.

July 7, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden has been moved to a backup role for Friday's game against the Redblacks.

Jorden will fall behind Bakari Grant on the depth chart at slotback this Friday. The move comes as somewhat of a surprise as Jorden has posted six receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown through the first two games, whereas Grant has not recorded a catch yet this season. Jorden could still play a role in the game if Grant fails to produce as a starter.

June 26, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jorden totaled 73 yards and a touchdown on his three receptions during Saturday's 20-18 loss to the Lions.

The Bowling Green product scored the only Stamps touchdown through the air Saturday, hauling in an 18-yard strike from Bo Levi Mitchell in the second quarter. He also was on the receiving end of a 40-yard missle from Mitchell, and gave Stamps coaches and fans alike plenty of reason for optimism with respect to his prospects as a feature receiver. The two-time all-Mid-American Conference first-teamer brings plenty of pedigree to what should be his first extended pro opportunity to showcase his wares, putting him firmly on the fantasy radar as the season unfolds.
