2022 Fantasy Outlook
Ducker led the Northern Illinois backfield in 2021, handling 218 carries for 1,184 yards and three touchdowns, and he has decided to make the move to Memphis for the 2022 season. The Tigers have retained lead back Brandon Thomas (116 carries for 669 yards and eight touchdowns in 2021), and secondary option Rodrigues Clark (79 carries for 387 yards and four touchdowns in 2021) for the upcoming season, who will poise as fierce competition for Ducker’s aspirations of taking over the Memphis backfield. The Tigers experienced a lot of changes to their receiving core following the 2021 season, and the offense may become more reliant on the backfield to move the ball in 2022, leading to additional opportunities for Ducker and the rest of the backfield group.
