Knee - ACL
April 22, 2019
Winn (knee) signed an undisclosed contract with the Broncos on Monday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports.
Winn previously was with the Broncos in 2017, but suffered a torn ACL in a preseason game and hasn't seen the field since. The 30-year-old has racked up 111 tackles (68 solo), three sacks and two forced fumbles in 68 career games. If he's fully healthy, Winn will add depth to the defensive front.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
If Winn manages to make the final roster in 2015, he'll have a tough time cracking the defensive line rotation, as the Browns used early draft picks on both Danny Shelton and Xavier Cooper this offseason. Mix that with the addition of free agent Randy Starks, and Winn will likely be hard-pressed for defensive snaps.
Winn will compete for playing time on the Browns' defensive line in 2014. He racked up 21 combined tackles over 11 games last season, and has a chance to improve upon these numbers, depending on how frequently substitutions are made on the new coaching regime's defensive line.
Winn will compete with fellow second-year player John Hughes and recently signed free agent Desmond Bryant for snaps at the defensive end position of the Browns' new 3-4 alignment. Winn will likely start the year as a reserve.
Standing 6-foot-4 and 294 pounds, Winn has the size and the ability to play either tackle or end. The Browns signed Frostee Rucker and Juqua Parker in the offseason to boost their roster on the outside, and lost standout nose tackle Phil Taylor for a significant amount of time due to injury, so Winn figures to be part of a rotation to fill his production with fellow rookie John Hughes.
