Still considering retirement
Bills' GM Brandon Bean told reporters Thursday that he spoke with Hyde on Wednesday and the safety is still mulling retirement, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Rumors about Hyde retiring began circulating toward the end of January, and he still has not made his decision. The 33-year-old has appeared in just 16 games over the past two seasons for the Bills, recording 61 total tackles and defending seven passes, including two interceptions. Hyde, who's currently a free agent, would likely have a handful of suitors if he chooses to play in 2024.

Could return to Buffalo
General manager Brandon Beane has not ruled out the possibility of the Bills re-signing Hyde, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Hyde played only 750 defensive snaps last season, his lowest mark since the 2015 season. He was also inconsistent when on the field and is reportedly considering retirement. If Hyde does plan to return, it appears that the Bills have at least some interest in bringing him back to play in their secondary.

Hyde is one of the more prominent safeties in the NFL, and he's looking to bounce back to Pro Bowl form after suffering a season-ending neck injury early in the 2022 campaign. Prior to that, 32-year old produced one of his best efforts in 2021 when he accumulated 74 tackles and grabbed five interceptions. With that in mind, there's hope that Hyde will bounce back in 2023, provided the Bills' starting free safety is fully past his neck issue.
