Could return to MLB
PKiwoom Heroes
November 6, 2020
Jokisch could attempt to return to MLB this offseason, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Jokisch last pitched in MLB back in 2014, making four appearances for the Cubs. He spent the next four years in the upper minors before signing with the Heroes, where he's been one of the KBO's best pitchers over the last two seasons. He owns an overall 2.67 ERA and 1.10 WHIP in 57 KBO starts, leading the league with a 2.14 ERA this past season. That suggests he could certainly be useful at the highest level, though he's not getting any younger at age 31 and hasn't been much of a strikeout arm in Korea, striking out a barely above-average 18.0 percent of opposing batters this past season. Whether or not he'll get an offer that makes a return worthwhile is not yet clear.
