RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Stasiak will take on Pingyuan Liu in a bantamweight matchup at UFC Hamburg on July 22.

Stasiak is 2-3 in the UFC, and has lost the striking battle in all but one of the matchups. He's recorded a takedown in each, as the Poland native excels most when the fight takes place on the mat. He'll take on an opponent in Liu that is riding a five-fight winning streak dating back to 2013.

Stasiak was given a 180-day medical suspension by the UFC following his UFC Fight Night loss to Brian Kelleher on Saturday, reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Stasiak is more of a ground threat than anything else, but he held his ground while trading shots with Kelleher during Round 1. However, as the bout progressed, Kelleher began to lay on the punches that overwhelmed Stasiak. The Polish fighter took a beating before a stop was called, but he never quit fighting. As a result of the loss, his record fell to 10-5 overall. The UFC also gave Stasiak a 180-day medical suspension due to a possible right knee injury sustained during the fight. Other competitors with similar time constraints pending medical clearance include Donald Cerrone, Jan Blachowicz, Devin Clark and Sam Alvey.
Stasiak lost to Brian Kelleher via TKO (punches) at 3:39 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night 118 on Saturday in Poland.

Fantasy Analysis

Stasiak was holding his own in the striking battle for the first five minutes, but Kelleher began to take control thereafter, pummeling the Polish fighter with hard shots, including the right hand that led to the finish. To Stasiak's credit, he was still attempting to fight when the match was called, but he could never find a way to hurt his opponent in this fight. Stasiak is a threat on the ground but isn't a great wrestler, and has a striking arsenal that consists of low-impact spinning attacks, which will likely make it tough for him to advance at the highest level. His professional MMA record falls to 10-5 as a result of the loss.
Stasiak lost to Pedro Munhoz via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night 109 in Stockholm on Sunday.

Fantasy Analysis

Stasiak came into this fight as a huge underdog, but he performed much better than that. He was able to walk through a lot of shots from Munhoz and land his own strikes. Unfortunately for him, Munhoz was still able to win all of the striking exchanges. Prior to this fight Stasiak has built some momentum with back-to-back wins over Filip Pejic and Davey Grant. However, he will need to go back to the drawing board after losing here.
Stasiak defeated Davey Grant via submission (armbar) at 3:56 of Round 3 at UFC 204 on Saturday in Manchester, England.

Fantasy Analysis

It was quite a win for Stasiak in hostile territory. Neither man was able to pull away from the other over the course of the fight, but Stasiak slapped on a beautiful armbar late in Round 3 that Grant was eventually forced to tap out to. Stasiak fought two nobodies (Yaotzin Meza, Filip Pejic) in his first two UFC fights, but Grant was a respectable opponent. The upside of the 26-year-old Stasiak remains virtually non-existent, but he certainly had a pretty finish on Saturday.
