Pitted against Bobby Green
Miller is scheduled to face Bobby Green in a lightweight bout at UFC 300 in Las Vegas on April 13, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
The 40-year-old Miller took down Gabriel Benitez to begin 2024, extending his win streak to two fights. Miller has won five of six fights dating back to October 2021 and will look to continue defying Father Time against Green, who lost his most recent bout.

Ageless wonder continues roll
Miller defeated Gabriel Benitez via submission (face crank) at 3:25 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Miller is probably going to slow down one day. Maybe. Actually, maybe not. The 40-year-old veteran and sure-fire Hall of Famer cruised past Benitez without issue, dominating his opponent on the feet and mixing in a couple trademark takedowns before closing the show with a face crank with a little over a minute to go. "A-10" has won four of five dating back to October 2021. The UFC has been very careful with the level of opposition it has been sending Miller's way, which should always been the case for an aging fighter. Jim spent his post-fight interview once again saying he hoped to fight at UFC 300 in April, and he mentioned Paul Felder (who was on commentary), Matt Brown and Brock Lesnar. He's not getting the final name, but either of the first two would be fun. Miller no doubt deserves to be the only fighter to compete at UFC 100, 200 and 300. He'll also walk away with a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus for his efforts here.

Scheduled against Benitez again
Miller will compete against Gabriel Benitez in a lightweight fight at UFC Vegas 84 on Jan. 13, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Miller was supposed to fight Benitez at UFC Vegas 69 on Feb. 18 before the latter withdrew. Miller went on to fight Alexander Hernandez, who ended the former's three-fight winning streak. Miller bounced back with a knockout win over Jesse Butler, while Benitez has not fought since the aforementioned withdrawal.

Easily handles late-notice opponent
Miller defeated Jesse Butler via KO (punches) at 0:23 of Round 1 at UFC on ESPN 46 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It was the 25th victory of Miller's UFC career, extending his own record. This was one of the easier ones. Facing a late-notice opponent who accepted this fight just a couple days ago, Miller, who has never been known for his power, uncorked two of the most beautiful punches you will ever see in knocking Butler out cold. Set to turn 40 years of age in late August, Miller has won four of five dating back to October 2021. He has already stated he hopes to hang on until UFC 300, which will take place in 2024. Given his recent string of success, that shouldn't be an issue. The quickest victory of his career would also go on to award Miller one of two $50,000 Performance of the Night bonuses awarded on the evening.

Will now face newcomer Butler
Miller will fight Jesse Butler in a lightweight bout at UFC Vegas 74 on June 3, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Miller was initially slated to take on Jared Gordon, but he pulled out at essentially the 11th hour. Now, the experienced lightweight will take on a UFC newcomer in Jesse Butler. Miller has overwhelming experience on Butler, but he's coming off a loss in his most recent fight at the hands of Alexander Hernandez via unanimous decision.
