Warren lost to Shawn Bunch via TKO (punches) at 1:42 of Round 1 at Bellator 210 on Friday in Thackerville, Okla.
ANALYSIS
For fans of Warren, this was a scary finish. He absorbed some punches from Bunch and then complained that he could not feel his hands. This was yet another loss for the aging fighter. Warren has now lost three of his last four fights, but at this point his health might be more important.

Struggles to keep pace with Joe Taimanglo at Bellator 195

March 2, 2018
Warren lost to Joe Taimanglo via split decision (30-27, 28-29, 30-27) at Bellator 195 on Friday in Thackerville, Okla.
ANALYSIS
Age appears to be catching up to Warren. In the first round, he was able to compete with his wrestling. He scored a few takedowns. When the fight was standing, Taimanglo had a clear advantage. He scored liberally with hooks and low leg kicks. In the second and third rounds, Warren struggled to score takedowns. He did end up on top a few times, but Taimanglo was able to defend and escape. With the loss, Warren's professional record falls to 15-7. He will likely not earn another title shot in the bantamweight division, but there are still fights he can win with his wrestling alone.
Staves off retirement with another decision victory at Bellator 181

July 14, 2017
Warren defeated Steve Garcia Jr. via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at Bellator 181 on Friday in Thackerville, Okla.
ANALYSIS
Warren needed a win here to get back on track. In his previous fight, he challenged bantamweight champion Eduardo Dantas for the title but came up short. Coming into this fight, Warren had the edge in wrestling, and he used that to dominate the fight. He did not do very much besides neutralize Garcia with takedowns and clinches along the fence, but it was more than enough to sway the judges. The 40-year-old fighter has appeared to reach the end of his career on several occasions, but he continues to win fights. Even with this performance, it will likely take another win or two to get back into the title picture.
Comes up short against champion Eduardo Dantas

December 2, 2016
Warren lost to Eduardo Dantas via majority decision (47-47, 49-44, 48-46) at Bellator 166 on Friday in Thackerville, Okla.
ANALYSIS
This was a very tough fight for Warren. In their first fight, he set the tone with his wrestling and forced Dantas to fight from behind. That was not the case here. Dantas totally controlled both the pace and distance of the fight. Warren struggled to close the distance and land strikes. On top of that, he rarely was able to enter wrestling range. He had the clinch briefly in the third round, but he could not drag Dantas to the ground. He had him down for a second in round four but could not hold position. Warren has now gone 2-2 in Bellator since losing the bantamweight title in 2015.
Finishes Sirwan Kakai with a third round submission

September 16, 2016
Warren defeated Sirwan Kakai via submission (guillotine choke) at 1:04 of Round 3 at Bellator 161 on Friday in Cedar Park, Texas.
ANALYSIS
In some ways it was another vintage Warren performance. He used his wrestling and clinch game to mostly dominate the fight. However, he also made an impact with a pair of devastating knees. In round two, he forced Sirwan Kakai to flop to his back after landing a clinch knee before nearly finishing the fight with a rear-naked choke. Then, Warren landed a jumping knee that damaged Kakai's nose and led to the guillotine choke finish. It was all smooth sailing for the former champion. Kakai forced him to defend a fully extended armbar, but Warren was able to survive. Of his five professional losses, three have come via submission. Warren improved his professional record to 14-5. His 12 wins in Bellator are second most all time behind Patricio "Pitbull" Freire.
To face Sirwan Kakai at Bellator 161

August 10, 2016
Warren will face Sirwan Kakai on September 16 at Bellator 161.
ANALYSIS
Warren is coming off of a first-round loss by submission in March to Darrion Caldwell. Notably, Warren has never lost a decision in his professional career, so if he can outlast Kakai, the 39-year old could beat the much younger fighter.
