RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Price will no longer face Belal Muhammad at UFC Utica on June 1 due to an undisclosed reason, MMAJunkie.com reports.

It's unclear exactly what rendered Price unfit to compete, but the 28-year-old will presumably be on the shelf for the foreseeable future. An American Top Team Product, Price is 3-1 (1 NC) in the UFC with each of his wins coming by way of stoppage. There's room to grow for the Florida native, but it might be a bit before his next move is determined.

Price will take on Belal Muhammad in a welterweight matchup at UFC Utica on June 1, MMAJunkie.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Price is 3-2 in the UFC, but all his victories have been via stoppage, including a Performance of the Night bonus for his first-round TKO victory over Alan Jouban last August. He'll hold height and reach advantages over Muhammad when the two square off this summer, which could play a key role in the striking battle. While Muhammad lands an average of 4.63 significant strikes per minute, he also absorbs 4.51, which means that he's willing to get hit in order to land a punch. In a fight where Price is likely to enter a betting underdog, he'll constantly need to be on the lookout for that one big shot.
Price defeated George Sullivan via submission (rear-naked choke) at 4:21 of Round 2 at UFC on FOX 27 on Saturday in Charlotte.

Fantasy Analysis

It was a nice bounce back effort from Price on the heels of his first professional loss this past October. Known for his striking skills, two of Price's last three wins have come via submission. All he needed was a slight opening from Sullivan during an exchange along the fence between the two men in order to clamp on the RNC that ended the contest. Despite having a limited ceiling, Price makes for useful roster depth in a division that doesn't have a ton of it. He is now 3-1 (1NC) in his first five UFC fights.
Price will face George Sullivan in a welterweight fight at UFC on FOX 27 in North Carolina on Jan. 27, Marc Raimondi of MMAFighting.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Price is looking to get back on track after suffering his first professional defeat in his latest bout, a submission loss at the hands of Vicente Luque at UFC Fight Night in October. His opponent, Sullivan, hasn't fought since his knockout loss to Alexander Yakovlev in January of 2016 due to a pair of anti-doping policy violations. Sullivan owns a 17-5 overall record in professional bouts (3-2 UFC).
Price lost to Vicente Luque via submission (d'Arce choke) at 4:08 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Fantasy Analysis

Price didn't handle his last-minute replacement opponent very well. He started slowly in Round 1 and it only got worse in the second frame when Luque scored a knockdown prior to the finish. Despite entering Saturday's fight with an undefeated professional record, Price is a one-dimensional brawler. He should do fine against a good portion of the UFC roster, but there are matchups (like this one) in which he will look quite poor.
Price will face Vicente Luque in a welterweight fight at UFC Sao Paolo on October 28, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Price was originally set to face Luan Chagas before Chagas fractured his foot and was forced to withdraw. He'll now face Luque, who has won four of his past five fights via stoppage, though his most recent fight ended in a unanimous decision loss to Leon Edwards. Price is coming off an impressive first-round victory over Alan Jouban and is undefeated in his professional career (10-0 with one no-contest).
Price is without an opponent for UFC Fight Night 119 on Oct. 28 after Luan Chagas (foot) was forced to withdraw from the bout, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Price's welterweight fight for Sao Paulo, Brazil is in jeopardy after Luan Chagas was forced to withdraw from the fight with a fractured foot sustained during training camp. A replacement hasn't been found for the matchup and the fight could potentially be completely dropped from the event.
Price will fight Luan Chagas in a welterweight matchup at UFC Fight Night 119 on October 28 in Sao Paulo, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Price has scored two wins since debuting in December. This battle with Luan Chagas will be his third of the year. "The Hybrid" has yet to be defeated and boasts a 10-0, 1NC record. While he has eight KO/TKO wins under his belt, he takes some serious punishment in the process of landing his shots.
Price defeated Alan Jouban via TKO at 1:44 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night 114 on Saturday in Mexico City.

Fantasy Analysis

Price looked great in this fight. He pursued Jouban, and ultimately landed a huge right elbow to counter a leg kick. The elbow hurt Jouban badly, and Price landed punches from back mount to finish the fight. Price is undefeated, and has only been to a decision once in his career. He is arguably the most exciting prospect in the welterweight division. For his efforts, the UFC awarded Price a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.
Price defeated Alex Morono via KO (punch) at 5:00 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Houston.

Fantasy Analysis

It wasn't pretty and it didn't start well for Price, but the finish was spectacular. After being in deep trouble in the waning seconds of Round 1, Price connected with a vicious right hook to beat the buzzer in Round 2. Price did a nice job of surviving when you take into account that he took this fight on less than a week's notice. His style is a bit reckless and that figures to be a considerable issue moving forward against better competition, but the 27-year-old Floridian has now won both of his UFC appearances in a span of less than five weeks.
Price will fight Alex Morono at UFC Houston on Saturday in a featured fight.

Fantasy Analysis

Price is coming off of his first UFC fight ever, in which he made Brandon Thatch submit in the first round. The welterweight is undefeated professionally thus far, notching six knockouts, two submissions, and one decision over his nine consecutive wins. A win over Morono would certainly open doors for the 27-year-old welterweight fighter.
Making his UFC debut on Friday, Price defeated Brandon Thatch via submission (arm-triangle choke) at 4:30 of Round 1 at UFC 207 on in Las Vegas.

Fantasy Analysis

Price entered his debut with a smart game plan and he was able to execute it. Knowing he was facing an opponent who struggles mightily on the mat, Price repeatedly forced Thatch to the mat and took away his opponent's high-quality striking game. It was a nice effort from a guy who entered the company with relatively little fan fare. He was facing an opponent who hadn't won a fight in more than three years, but Price did what he had to do on Friday.
