RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Aguilar was removed the UFC Austin card Tuesday due to the UFC being unable to find a replacement opponent, Danny Segura of MMAFighting.com reports.

Aguilar was originally set to fight Livinha Souza at the event this weekend, but Souza was forced off the card after suffering a hand injury. With the UFC unable to find an opponent for Souza, they've elected to schedule the strawweight bout for a later date, and they will reportedly be looking at either UFC Orlando later this month or UFC 222 in Las Vegas in early March.

Aguilar will take on Livia Renata Souza at UFC Austin on Feb. 18, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Aguilar is still looking for her first victory inside the Octagon, having lost decision defeats to Claudia Gadelha and Cortney Casey since joining the promotion in June of 2015. Souza enters with a career 11-1 record as a professional, but will be making her UFC debut during this bout. She is a former 115-pound champion in Invicta FC, with her only loss coming to Angela Hill.
Aguilar lost to Cortney Casey via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC 211 on Saturday in Dallas.

Fantasy Analysis

Aguilar entered the UFC with quite a bit of fanfare on August 2015, but her brief run with the company has been an unmitigated disaster. She dropped her debut to Claudia Gadelhia at UFC 190, and after nearly two years on the sidelines, she struggled mightily on Saturday against Casey. Her constant issues haven't allowed Aguilar to get into a position to use her submission skills. She will probably get another chance with the company, but her stock has cratered.
Aguilar is slated to fight Cortney Casey on May 13 at UFC 211, Shaun Al-Shatti of MMAFighting.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

The bout will mark Aguilar's first fight since suffering a unanimous decision loss to Claudia Gadelha in 2015. Aguilar's opponent, Casey, is riding high after winning her last two fights.
Aguilar has been suspended 180 days pending an X-ray on her nose, MMAFighting.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Aguilar's UFC debut didn't go as expected, as she lost a unanimous decision at the hands of now No. 1 strawweight contender Claudia Gadelha. She took her fair share of shots in the bout, and at least one of those played a role in what appeared to be a broken nose. Aguilar will now be unable to fight for 180 days, unless she is medically cleared before then (a likely possibility).
Aguilar lost to Claudia Gadelha via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC 190 on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro.

Fantasy Analysis

Aguilar looked stiff and uncomfortable in her UFC debut. She was a bit better in the third round, but not by much. Aguilar, the former WSOF strawweight champion, had the look of a fighter who had been fighting inferior competition for the last four-plus years. Most people expected Gadelha to win, but most also felt that Aguilar would be far more competitive than she was. Aguilar is easily a top-10 strawweight, but her effort on Saturday showed that she's not on the level of the elite fighters in the division. It was Aguilar's first loss since September 2010. She had won ten-straight prior to this one.
Aguilar is a heavy underdog for Saturday's strawweight fight against Claudia Gadelha at UFC 190 in Rio de Janeiro.

Fantasy Analysis

It will be Aguilar's UFC debut. Aguilar is the former WSOF stawweight champion, but she hasn't fought anyone of note in almost four years. She certainly should be the underdog here, but the current line of +360 is kind of ridiculous. Aguilar is easily a top-five strawweight. It wouldn't be a shock if she pulled the upset on Saturday.
Aguilar has signed a contract with the UFC and she will face Claudia Gadelha at UFC 190 on August 1 in Rio de Janeiro, MMAFighting.com reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Widely considered as one of the top female strawweight fighters in the world, Aguilar is quite a get for the UFC. She was previously the World Series of Fighting champion and she has won 10 fights in her row. Aguilar draws a tough test in Gadelha in her first UFC bout.
