Light HeavyweightUFC
July 15, 2019
The UFC announced Monday that Oleksiejczuk (14-2-0, 1 NC) is slated to face Ovince Saint Preux (23-13-0) in a light heavyweight fight Sept. 28 at UFC Copenhagen.
After his unanimous decision win over Khalil Rountree at UFC 219 in his promotional debut was overturned following a failed drug test, Oleksiejczuk returned from a one-year suspension to claim consecutive first-round knockout victories over Gian Villante and Gadzhimurad Antigulov. He'll thus be returning to the Octagon with more momentum than Saint Preux, who is riding a two-fight losing skid.

Crumples opponent with body shot

Oleksiejczuk defeated Gian Villante via TKO (punches) at 1:34 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night 145 in Prague, Czech Republic on Saturday.
Oleksiejczuk looked to be the much quicker and crisper striker out of the gate, as it was clear Villante was having trouble answering his opponent's attacks. The Polish fighter showed off his excellent body work to close out Round 1, culminating in a thunderous liver shot that forced Villante to keel over. The quick and impressive finish earned Olejsiejczuk a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus for his efforts. It must be noted that Oleksiejczuk was making his return following a one-year suspension due to testing positive for a banned substance, but he is an athletic, creative striker who can wrestle a bit, which should make him an interesting name to add to the young crop of fighters in the light heavyweight division. Oleksiejczuk moves to 13-2 with one no-contest in professional MMA as a result of the victory.
Set for return in Prague
Light HeavyweightUFC
January 21, 2019
Oleksiejczuk will return from suspension to face Gian Villante at UFC Prague on Feb. 23.
Oleksiejczuk has fought just once since joining the UFC back in 2017, with his victory over Khalil Rountree in December of that year changed to a no contest after he tested positive for a banned substance. He was subsequently handed a one-year suspension. He'll face an opponent in Villante who is not in the best run of form, with losses in three of his last five fights and five of his last nine.
Dealt concurrent one-year suspension
Light HeavyweightUFC
June 12, 2018
Oleksiejczuk was suspended one year by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), retroactive to Dec. 30, 2017, for a positive test for the banned substance clomiphene, Marc Raimondi of MMAFighting.com reports.
Oleksiejczuk was already serving the same one-year suspension handed down by the Nevada Athletic Commission, so this is essentially an affirmation by USADA of the commission's findings. The light heavyweight fighter has already seen his UFC debut -- a victory over Khalil Rountree -- overturned to a no-contest, and he won't be eligible to compete again until December 29, 2018.

Oleksiejczuk will have to wait at least a year before he can take part in his second UFC fight. In addition, he will be fined $3,600 and must pass a drug test before he is allowed to return.
