ANALYSIS
Hubbard has lost back-to-back fights and three of his last four overall, with two of those defeats coming by way of submission, including his most recent to Kurt Holobaugh last August. He'll now take on Figlak, who suffered his first professional loss via unanimous decision to Fares Ziam in September. Physically, both men match up nearly identical in terms of height and reach, but Figlak is more than three years younger.

Hubbard actually started this one relatively well, landing 31 significant strikes and two takedowns in the opening frame. Things were a bit more lopsided in Round 2, however, as Holobaugh let his hands go more and Hubbard ate a right hand that left him compromised. Instinct carried things to the mat and even saw Hubbard in top position, but Holobaugh threw up a triangle from his back that closed the show. Hubbard is clearly UFC-caliber with multiple wins with the company during his last stint, but it may be back to the regional circuit for the time being.

Hubbard has had all sorts of difficulty stopping his opposition the past few years, making it imperative he keep a strong pace for the duration of his bouts. The 29-year-old Colorado native has now alternated losses and wins in his first seven UFC bouts, meaning he should be in line for a victory his next time out.
