Jedrzejczyk confirmed she did not break her foot after visiting a doctor Monday, Damon Martin of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Jedrzejczyk's foot was swollen after the second round of her fight against Michelle Waterson at UFC Tampa on Saturday and she thought that it was broken. However, she was able to continue fighting and defeat Waterson via unanimous decisioin. Although Jedrzejczyk's foot is still swollen and she will need time to recover, there will likely be a shorter recovery timeline associated with her injury than if it had been broken.

Hurts foot at UFC Tampa

Jedrzejczyk said she thought she broke her right foot during her bout with Michelle Waterson at UFC Tampa on Saturday, Marc Raimondi of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Jedrzejczyk defeated Waterson via unanimous decision Saturday, but said she hurt her foot at the end of the second round. The foot was very swollen late in the fight, but Jedrzejczyk still landed 180 significant strikes during the bout, the third-best total in UFC women's strawweight history. The 32-year-old recorded her 10th victory as a UFC fighter and ended Waterson's three-fight winning streak. Jedrzejczyk should receive a more definitive diagnosis of her injury in the coming days.

Jedrzejczyk defeated Michelle Waterson via unanimous decision (50-45, 50-45, 49-46) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Tampa.
ANALYSIS
As recently as 72 hours ago there were serious concerns that Joanna wouldn't be able to make weight and that this fight would be cancelled, but not only did she make weight, she destroyed Waterson. The total strike count was 226-71 in favor of the former UFC Women's Strawweight Champion and she fought with a physicality that the smaller Waterson simply could not match. Joanna hasn't looked like the same dominant force of late that she has in some of her earlier UFC bouts, but she rolled through Waterson without issue. Joanna probably doesn't deserve another title shot right away given the fact she is 2-3 in her last five fights dating back to November 2017, but the UFC doesn't always make the most logical decisions when it comes to booking championship bouts. To summarize, don't be surprised if Joanna is next in line for newly crowned champion Weili Zhang's first title defense.
Makes weight, main event on

October 11, 2019
Jedrzejczyk weighed in at 115.5 on Friday morning to lock in her main event matchup against Michelle Waterson at UFC Tampa on Saturday, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Questions surrounding Jedrzejczyk's weight cut have been lingering all week, but the former strawweight champion has never missed weight in her UFC career, and that trend was not broken Friday. There's no doubt she's had some bad cuts in the past, and despite her management team trying to negotiate a catchweight bout to prevent her from another brutal one, Jedrzejczyk was able to push through and save the scheduled main event. She didn't even look particularly emaciated, hitting the scales with a smile and not even needing a towel. As of Friday afternoon, Jedrzejczyk sits as a (-335) betting favorite -- a mark that has improved since rumors about her weight cut started earlier this week.

Jedrzejczyk appears more optimistic than earlier this week regarding her chances of making weight Friday, Brett Okamoto of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
It was originally reported that Jedrzejczyk wasn't going to make the 116-pound limit and instead was seeking a catchweight bout with Waterson, but after Waterson rightfully declined that offer, the fight was looking like it would be in jeopardy. After a few good workouts, however, Jedrzejczyk's camp has been nothing but optimistic regarding her ability to make weight. More clarity won't arrive until Friday morning when the fighters hit the scales.
Will attempt to make weight

Despite earlier reports of her main event matchup being in jeopardy, Jedrzejczyk will move forward with plans to compete in Saturday's matchup against Michelle Waterson, Ariel Helwani of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
News broke Wednesday morning that Jedrzejczyk was not going to be able to make the 116-pound limit for her strawweight matchup against Waterson, but apparently she had a good workout and will attempt to give the weight cut a shot. While Jedrzejczyk has had documented struggles making this cut in the past, the former champion hasn't officially missed weight yet in her MMA career. She'll get an extra pound of leeway for this non-title fight, but the weight cut will be worth monitoring for anyone intending to use her in fantasy lineups. Waterson does not seemed inclined to accept a catchweight bout, so if Jedrzejczyk misses her mark, there's a good chance of Saturday's main event being changed, or at the worst, rescheduled. Weight speculation aside, Jedrzejczyk currently sits as a (-300) betting favorite for the title eliminator matchup.
