Fast Final Practice at Road America
Marks was fastest in Happy Hour practice for the Johnsonville 180 Xfinity Series race at Road America Friday afternoon. He turned a fast lap of 109.603 mph.
Xfinity Road Course Schedule Announced
Chip Ganassi Racing announced that Marks will return to pilot to the No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro SS in the NASCAR Xfinity Series road-course races at Mid-Ohio (Aug. 12), Road America (Aug. 26) and the newest road-course on the series' schedule, Charlotte Motor Speedway (Sep. 29). Chevrolet Accessories, will serve as a primary sponsor for all three races, Chip Ganassi Racing PR reports.

Part-Time NASCAR Schedule
In recent years, Marks has been more of a part-time racer as he's focused on his businesses, like GoPro Motorplex. However, the 2018 season is shaping up to be his busiest season in a number of years. Marks will drive full-time for Michael Shank Racing with Curb-Agajanian in the No. 93 Acura alongside Lawson Aschenbach. Outside of that, Marks has indicated that he hopes to compete in up to six NASCAR races in 2018, frontstretch.com reports.
