Runner-up Finish at Charlotte Roval
September 29, 2018
Marks finished second in the Drive for the Cure 200 Xfinity Series race on the Roval at Charlotte Motor Speedway Saturday afternoon.
Marks made the most of his last-ever weekend of NASCAR racing. He qualified fourth on the starting grid at the Charlotte Roval, and raced among the leaders all afternoon in this challenging race. Marks finished stage 1 in fifth-place, but would have to rally back in stage 3. He was closing on the No. 98 Ford over the final laps, but could only come within 1.5-seconds of Chase Briscoe at the checkered flag.
