October 15, 2020
Fastest in GT Le Mans practice at Michelin Raceway Road Altanta was Vanthoor, who headed up a one-two for the CORE autosport-run Porsche North America squad, sportscar365.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Vanthoor's 1:17.008 lap of Road Atlanta put him a half-second ahead of teammate, Nick Tandy, in the team's No. 911 Porsche 911 RSR. Both teams are looking to rebound from a disastrous outing at the Charlotte Roval last weekend. Vanthoor and co-pilot Earl Bamber have yet to visit victory lane this season.
