Dawkins (shoulder) was cleared to resume full-contact workouts in May, Brian Murphy of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Dawkins missed the entire 2017-18 season after suffering a torn labrum in October that required surgery. Now two years removed from his last collegiate action after sitting out in 2016-17 following his transfer from Michigan, Dawkins will have some rust to knock off as he prepares for what could be a decent-sized role on the wing for the Knights. Dawkins averaged 6.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.2 three-pointers in 15.8 minutes per game for MIchigan in his last season in 2015-16.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dawkins recently underwent season-ending shoulder surgery, Seth Davis of CBS Sports reports.

Dawkins transferred from Michigan to UCF following the 2016-17 season in order to play for his father, Johnny Dawkins. However, Dawkins will have to wait at least another year to make his team debut, as he's now undergone shoulder surgery and will miss the entirety of the 2017-18 campaign. It's unclear at this point in time if he'll apply for a medical redshirt, but Dawkins was originally expected to have two years of eligibility left.

Dawkins had 15 points (2-for-3 on three-pointers) with six rebounds and two assists against Northern Michigan Friday night.

A nice start to 2015-16 for Dawkins, but his starting role and minutes are likely to drop once Zak Irvin is able to play.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dawkins has been the most improved player of Michigan's offseason according to head coach John Beilein, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Dawkins played 21 minutes per game as a freshman, posting averages of 7.0 points and 2.1 rebounds while shooting 43.8 percent from beyond the arc. He's expected to take a big leap during his sophomore campaign, with apparent improvements to his shooting, rebounding, ball handling and defense. Injuries to other rotation players gave the 6-foot-6 week an opportunity to contribute last year, and Dawkins plans to build on that in his sophomore campaign. The high praise bodes well for his projected fantasy value.
