Holston (knee) announced on his Twitter page he will transfer to St. Joseph's.

Holston recently graduated from South Florida, which means he is eligible to play immediately the last two years of his eligibility after redshirting twice with the Bulls due to knee injuries. When healthy, he has put up decent numbers, averaging 7.9 points in 2014 and 9.7 points in 2016. The big question towards his fantasy value will be whether or not his health is something he can maintain, after tearing his ACL before his freshman year and missing last season due to another operation.

Holston (knee) announced Wednesday in a post on his personal Twitter account that he would transfer from South Florida upon graduating in the spring.

Holston's collegiate career has been foiled by knee injuries, with an ACL tear in his left knee forcing him to redshirt in 2015-16 and an aggravation of the injury costing him four games in 2016-17. He was set to return at full strength in 2017-18, but endured a setback that required him to undergo another season-ending procedure in September. After losing essentially two seasons to injury, the NCAA granted Holston a medical redshirt, so he'll have two years of eligibility remaining and can play immediately at his next school. Houston averaged 9.7 points and 2.3 rebounds in 29.2 minutes per game during his last healthy season and could be a key rotation player for a program if his knee problems are officially behind him.

Holston will be sidelined for the 2017-2018 season after undergoing surgery on his left knee, Collin Sherwin of the Daily Stampede reports.

Holston has endured an injury-plagued college career, missing the entire 2015-2016 season due to a torn ACL, and now he'll sit out this season. The junior guard averaged 9.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game during the 2016-2017 season, and was expected to have a breakout year. Holston is expected to make a full recovery in time for next season.

Holston (knee) is ready to take on a more prominent role in the Bulls' offense following what is expected to be a full recovery from ACL surgery, according to The Oracle, South Florida's school newspaper.

Holston is more than a year removed from ACL surgery that occurred during the summer of 2015, which cost him the entire 2015-16 campaign. While on the shelf, the Bulls had to rely heavily on then-freshman Jahmal McMurray, but Holston's return gives the team a dual-threat in the backcourt. At one point, Holston was a three-star recruit that was ranked in the top-20 in the state of Florida. His freshman campaign got off to a slow start, but he averaged 15.8 PPG during the last nine games of the 2014-15 season, including two 20-point performances in his last four games. Now a redshirt sophomore, Holston could be an excellent sleeper candidate in AAC formats, provided he can get over the mental hurdles that come following a serious knee injury.
