Fall (shoulder) said he expects to be cleared for full-contact practices within a few more weeks, Brian Murphy of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

The 7-foot-6 center opted to return to Central Florida for his final college season after his 2017-18 campaign was cut short when he required shoulder surgery in late January. Fall, who will take on an increased leadership role following the graduation of frontcourt mate A.J. Davis, should be back to full strength well in advance of the upcoming season. If he can stay on the court, Fall will likely rank among the NCAA leaders in blocks after swatting 195 shots over his first three years of school.

April 4, 2018

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fall will return to the Knights for his senior season, CBS Sports reports.

Fall's junior season ended prematurely after he injured his shoulder on Jan. 16. He missed the last 14 games and the UCF defense was not as effective. The 7-6 center averaged 11.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks in 21.9 minutes. He will have the offseason to rehabilitate his shoulder and should be a key player for the Knights who will lose forward A.J. Davis to graduation.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fall is set to undergo season-ending surgery on his shoulder, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

This is a significant loss for Central Florida as Fall was a constant difference maker on the glass and on the defensive end, averaging 7.3 rebounds and 1.9 blocks in 16 games prior to coming down with a shoulder injury that'll put an end to his season. Fall will be a senior next year if he opts to return to school instead of turning pro.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fall recorded 13 points (5-5 FG, 3-4 FT) and seven rebounds across 15 minutes off the bench in Saturday's victory over William & Mary.

It was Fall's first game of the season due to a hip injury, which is likely why he came off the bench in the contest. The 7-6 center averaged 26.3 minutes as a starter last season, so look for the big man to move back to the starting lineup prior to AAC play.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fall (hip) will take the floor Saturday against William & Mary, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Fall will make his 2017-18 season debut Saturday, as he's been nursing a hip injury since the opener. Last year, Fall saw 26.3 minutes per game and posted 10.9 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.6 blocks. He'll likely see at least that much run this year and could certainly improve his production with another year of development under his belt.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fall (hip) will not play Wednesday against Gardner-Webb, Daniel Wolff of KnightNews.com reports.

Fall will miss a second straight game due to a sore hip, although coach Johnny Dawkins stated that he will "return in the near future." The big man has been able to practice, and could wind up returning this weekend for Saturday's game against William & Mary. In his place, Rokas Ulvydas will make the start.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fall did not play in Central Florida's season-opening victory over Mercer on Friday, as he was dealing with a sore hip, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

There wasn't much word of a hip injury for the 7-6 Fall heading into the season, so it seems as if this absence was merely precautionary. In Fall's stead, Central Florida started A.J. Davis and Rokas Ulvydas in the frontcourt, though forwards Myles Douglas and Chad Brown got plenty of run as well. Once healthy, Fall should take the spot of Ulvydas, starting alongside Davis in the frontcourt. His next chance to suit up will be a home matchup Wednesday against Gardner-Webb.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Fall will return to UCF for their 2017-18 season, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Fall declared for the 2017 NBA draft without an agent, meaning that he still had the opportunity to return to UCF for his Junior season. During his sophomore campaign, the starting 7-6 center posted averages of 10.9 points, 9.5 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.3 steals, and 2.6 blocks while maintaining a 71.5% field goal percentage.
