Edwards had a game-high 25 points to go with five rebounds and two assists in Saturday's blowout win over Minnesota.

Purdue cruised to an easy victory Saturday and Edwards was a big reason why. He canned five of his seven attempts from three-point range and was 9-for-14 from the floor overall. He and the Boilermakers will look to keep things rolling Tuesday against Wisconsin.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Edwards had 21 points (7-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 10 rebounds and six assists across 39 minutes in Saturday's 74-62 victory over Nebraska.

Edwards has a talented unit around him, but the senior is still on pace for career bests in scoring (14.1 PPG) and rebounding (8.6 RPG). Though Isaac Haas was expected to pick up most of the rebounding production left behind by Caleb Swanigan, it's actually been Edwards who leads the team on the glass. His shooting percentages have gone down a bit with increased volume, but he's actually improved from the charity stripe, converting 85.7 percent of his free throws. Edwards and the Boilermakers will hit the road this week for conference matchups against Michigan and Minnesota.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Edwards produced a double-double with 12 points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block in the win over IUPUI on Sunday.

The senior now has five double-doubles on the season. He only had three such stat lines all of last year. Edwards is fourth on the Boilermakers in PPG (13.5) and leads the team in RPG (9.2). Purdue has bounced back from two straight losses at the end of November to their current six game win streak. They will take on Butler on Saturday next.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Edwards notched a double-double in the win over Maryland on Friday with 10 points (3-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists, and a steal.

The senior is averaging 13.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per game this season, both of which are career highs. Edwards is also setting career highs in attempts across the board. He is shooting 40 percent from three-point range and 93 percent from the free-throw line. Edwards will look to keep it up against Northwestern on Sunday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Edwards needed just 22 minutes to put up 21 points (8-12 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 11 rebounds and two assists in Saturday's victory over Fairfield.

Edwards now has two double-doubles in two of four games this season, and he's not even being deployed at full capacity, averaging 21.5 minutes per contest. The Boilermakers have played three relatively soft non-conference teams that have resulted in lopsided outcomes, and during their toughest challenge against Marquette, Edwards was limited by foul trouble. Look for the senior to see much higher minutes totals in upcoming contests against Tennessee and Louisville.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Edwards led the Boilermakers with 25 points in Saturday's exhibition against Team Canada, The Herald Bulletin reports.

Edwards has entered the NBA Draft pool following each of the past two seasons, but once again elected to stay with Purdue for the 2017-18 campaign. Along with 7-foot-2 center Isaac Haas, Edwards brings tremendous scoring ability off the dribble to the 2016-17 Big Ten champions, and could put up the numbers to be fantasy relevant in nationwide formats.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Edwards decided Wednesday to withdraw from the 2017 NBA Draft and return to Purdue for his senior season, Brian Neubert of GoldandBlack.com reports.

For the second time in as many years, Edwards has pulled himself out of consideration for the draft after receiving no assurances from teams that he'd be a likely selection. Upon rejoining the Boilermakers, Edwards should reclaim a starting role at forward for the fourth consecutive season after averaging 12.6 points and ranking second on the team in assists in 2016-17.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Edwards will enter the NBA Draft but will not hire an agent, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Edwards not hiring an agent means he will have the option to return to Purdue for his senior season. As a junior, the forward averaged 12.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in 28.6 minutes per game.
