Allen finished with five points on 2-of-9 shooting Monday at Miami.

Allen did add four rebounds, three assists and five steals, but his lack of confidence in shooting has reached a fever pitch. In six ACC games, Allen has hit 22-of-74 from the floor (29.7 percent). He continues to play as many minutes as he can handle, and you have to expect he'll shoot himself out of this slump, but for now, Allen is a hard player to trust.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen pulled down 12 rebounds and dished out eight assists Saturday against Wake Forest but he managed to score just two points.

While Allen was able to impact the game without needing to do too much on the offensive end, it's still worth noting that he went 0-for-5 from the floor and mustered a season-low two points. Allen is averaging just 10.8 points in conference play, and that number is slightly inflated by his 22-point performance against Florida State. It's clear that Duke's offense runs through Marvin Bagley now.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen finished with 11 points, four rebounds and four assists Wednesday at Pittsburgh, hitting 4-of-12 from the floor and 2-of-9 from 3-point range.

Allen has been ice cold from the floor in league play. Despite averaging 15.8 points over four ACC games, he's shooting 33.3 percent (20-of-60) from the floor and 29.6 percent (8-of-27) from 3-point territory. With two games against Wake Forest and another against Pitt over their next four, Allen needs to get going against soft defenses.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen provided 21 points (7-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four assists, two rebounds, and a steal in a road win over Indiana on Wednesday.

Allen played all 40 minutes for the second straight game. The senior has helped Duke get off to a 9-0 start by averaging 17.0 points, 4.6 assists, and 3.1 rebounds per game. Allen is also shooting a career-high 43 percent from three-point range while averaging 3.0 3PM per game. With freshman Marvin Bagley proving to be an unstoppable force down low, that has reduced Allen's need to handle most of the scoring load. Duke will take on South Dakota on Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen had 14 points, seven assists and four rebounds Sunday against Florida.

Allen is beginning to take a clear back seat to the team's freshmen when it comes to scoring. He's averring 11.0 points over his last five games as opposed to 25.7 over his first three. The good news is he's embracing the role, and distributing at a career level, averaging averaging 6.2 dimes over his last five.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen led the Blue Devils past Michigan State with 37 points (11-20 FG, 7-11 3Pt, 8-8 FT) on Tuesday in the Champions Classic.

Allen shot with extreme confidence and made a couple of 3-pointers from a few feet beyond the arc. Even after Marvin Bagley III (eye) was lost for the game, Allen kept Duke from being overcome by the Spartans. It was certainly the performance of the early season and it may hold up as one of the best games of the season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen had 22 points, four rebounds, two assists and a steal to open his senior campaign against Elon.

Allen hit 8 of 15 from the floor, including 6 of 9 from 3-point range. There are plenty of mouths to feed in this offense, but through an exhibition and one night, Allen certainly looks more like the sophomore version of himself than what he provided a season ago.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen led the Blue Devils in points (23) and minutes played (26) in Friday's exhibition victory over NW Missouri State, adding five rebounds and three assists.

The lesser opponent and exhibition nature of this game makes the final stat line less impressive, but Allen was still an efficient 9-for-15 from the field, including 5-for-10 from behind the three-point arc. Though he's one of the most recognizable villains in college basketball, Allen cannot be ignored in the fantasy community. His scoring did dip from 21.6 to 14.5 PPG between his sophomore and junior years, but look for the final mark to fall somewhere in between in his last year of collegiate eligibility. At the very least, he's been consistent in the assists department, averaging 3.5 dimes in each of his past two seasons. The Blue Devils have plenty of mouths to feed this season, as Allen will be surrounded in the starting lineup by four five-star freshman, but he'll bring a much-needed experience factor. Allen will also be able to play off the ball a bit more, as one of those freshman is a traditional point guard in Trevon Duval. In any case, Allen's leadership role and talented supporting cast appears to put him in line for another strong statistical season.
