Brown declared for the 2018 NBA Draft on Wednesday but doesn't intend to hire an agent.

Brown, a Naismith Trophy Top 30 honoree last season, will meet with NBA scouts and receive feedback regarding his professional prospects, but with the guard unlikely to garner a first-round grade from evaluators, it's expected that he'll return to Auburn for his senior campaign. The 6-foot-3 Brown averaged 15.9 points per game and shot 38.2 percent from three-point range last season, aiding Auburn to a share of the SEC title. He'll be one of the top returnees on a Tigers squad that fellow backcourt standout Mustapha Heron, who also declared for the draft but plans to sign with an agent and forgo his final two seasons of collegiate eligibility.

March 15, 2018

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Brown has deemed himself nearly 100 percent healthy from the shoulder and foot issues that plagued him late in the season, Josh Vitale of the Opelika-Auburn News reports.

Brown's minutes weren't limited by the issues, but his shooting efficiency may have been impacted by it. The Tigers appears to be all systems go heading into the NCAA tournament, looking to build off of the team's regular-season crown.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Brown scored a career-high 29 points (9-15 FG, 8-12 3Pt, 3-4 FT) with four rebounds in the win over South Carolina on Saturday.

The Tigers avenged the Feb. 17 loss to the Gamecocks. He had not scored more than 18 points in his previous six games, but dialed up his offense on Saturday. Auburn won the regular season SEC championship and will play the winner of the Texas A&M-Alabama game in the SEC tournament.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Brown scored 18 points (5-17 FG, 3-14 3Pt, 5-6 FT) in the win over Alabama on Wednesday. He added two boards and two steals.

Brown returned to the starting lineup on Saturday, but has struggled with his shot in his last two games. He has converted just 24.2 percent (8-of-33) over the last week, but the Tigers were able to win without Mustapha Heron (illness). Auburn heads to Florida on Saturday and could clinch an outright SEC regular season championship.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Brown (foot) will return to the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Alabama, Josh Vitale of the Opelika-Auburn News reports.

Brown should provide some relief Wednesday for a Tigers club that just lost Anfernee McLemore (ankle) for the season and will be without Mustapha Heron (illness) against the Crimson Tide. As a result, Brown could be relied upon more heavily than usual on the offensive end of the floor despite him being less than 100 percent healthy.

February 19, 2018

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Brown was a limited participant in Monday's practice due to a bruised foot, Tom Green of AL.com reports.

Brown reportedly aggravated the injury in last week's game against Kentucky, but ended up playing through the ailment in the team's next contest against South Carolina on Saturday. He was clearly hampered by the injury despite playing a full 35-minute workload, however, as he shot just 3-for-16 from the field for 10 points. It sounds like Brown expects to continue to play through it, but he was limited at Monday's practice for precautionary reasons and will ultimately have to see how everything feels over the next few days before being given the go-ahead to take the court. Look for another update on his status prior to Wednesday's matchup with Alabama.

February 14, 2018

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Brown (shoulder) racked up 18 points (6-13 FG, 4-7 3PT, 2-2 FT), two steals and a rebound over 29 minutes Wednesday against Kentucky.

Brown started off slowly, but he put together a solid night for the Tigers in a big victory over Kentucky. Despite playing with a brace on his shoulder, he didn't display any ill effects during the matchup. Brown should be good to go moving forward.

February 14, 2018

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Brown (shoulder) will start Wednesday's game against Kentucky, Josh Vitale of the Opelika-Auburn News reports.

Brown will wear a shoulder brace during the contest, though it remains to be seen whether the injury will result in any limitations on his minutes or effectiveness. The junior guard has averaged 16.6 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.0 steals per game this season and should resume his role as a major scoring threat.
