Lynch (suspension) will be allowed to practice with the team, Michael Rand of the Star Tribune reports.

Lynch is suspended from play indefinitely during his appeal, but he remains able to practice with the team. He'll provide the banged up Gophers with an extra body during practice for the time being. Lynch was recommended for expulsion Tuesday, after his third sexual assault allegation.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lynch (suspension) is still a part of the basketball team, but is suspended and will miss Saturday's matchup with Indiana, Marcus Fuller of the Star Tribune reports.

Although Lynch will remain on Minnesota's basketball team, he's suspended for Saturday's game and probably longer until the situation is resolved. He's planning to appeal the suspension, a process that could take some time before a final decision on his playing status is made.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lynch (suspension) plans to appeal the suspension levied against him for sexual misconduct, Rochelle Olsen and Marcus Fuller of the Star Tribune report.

It was announced late Thursday that Lynch would be suspended through August of 2020 after a Minnesota investigation found him responsible of the offense. According to the Star Tribune's report, the Student Misconduct Subcommittee will handle Lynch's appeal process, but it could take months for a final decision to be reached.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lynch has been suspended from the University of Minnesota until August 2020 for violating the school's sexual misconduct policy, John Shipley of the Pioneer Press reports.

Lynch is facing a prolonged suspension from the university stemming from an alleged sexual assault committed in 2016. Following an investigation, it has been decided that the senior will be banned from campus and "all university events" moving forward. Lynch may appeal the decision.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lynch recorded 11 points (3-4 FG, 5-6 FT), 12 rebounds, seven blocks, and a steal in the win over Illinois on Wednesday.

Lynch continued to show why he is one of the best interior defenders in the nation, averaging 4.1 blocks per game, which ranks third in the country. The senior is also putting up 10.1 points and 8.0 rebounds, while shooting over 58 percent from the field. Lynch and Jordan Murphy make up one of the better front courts in all of college basketball. Minnesota will look to move to 14-3 on Saturday when they host Indiana.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lynch had 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 FT), 10 rebounds and seven blocks over 32 minutes in Wednesday's 81-86 loss to Miami.

Lynch and the Gophers may have taken a tough home loss, but the reigning Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year shined yet again on the defensive end. He's averaging a tremendous 4.8 rejections per contest, and although that mark is likely unsustainable, nobody would be surprised if he leads the league in shot blocking yet again.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lynch had his best game of the early season with 18 points (8-12 FG, 2-3 FT), 12 rebounds, nine blocks, and six assists in the win over Niagara on Wednesday.

Lynch looks fully recovered from offseason knee surgery. He has a pair of double-doubles in three games and has blocked 17 shots. The former Illinois State transfer and forward Jordan Murphy form one of the best frontcourt combos in the Big 10.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lynch (knee) has been cleared for full-contact activities, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Lynch had been on the sidelines with several teammates, but according to head coach Richard Pitino, the entire active roster is now cleared for full contact. This is excellent news for the reigning Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, as Lynch should have little-to-no issue suiting up for the Nov. 10 opener against USC Upstate. Look for him to start at center, forming a dynamic frontcourt duo with power forward Jordan Murphy. While Lynch leaves a bit to be desired in the scoring department (he's never averaged double figures in his collegiate career), he helps fantasy owners tremendously in the blocks category -- one that can be tough to scrape together production in. Lynch averaged 3.7 rejections per contest in Big Ten play during his junior campaign, and recorded the second-highest single-game total in conference history (11) in a Feb. 25 matchup against Purdue.
