While Fisher (knee) didn't deny that he will miss the remainder of the season, he also disclosed
that his knee injury isn't the root cause of him missing the rest of 2018-19.
Fisher did say that he's dealing with discomfort in his knee, but he also stated that it would be healed soon with some time and rehab. He already announced his intentions to transfer elsewhere following the season, so there may be something more to the story than meets the eye. If granted a medical redshirt for 2018-19, Fisher could have two years of eligibility remaining at his new school as a graduate transfer. The junior averaged 12.1 points, 2.7 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.0 steals per contest over nine games this season and figures to be highly sought after as far as transfers go.
