Moving on from South Carolina

Knee
April 30, 2019
Cudd (knee) entered the NCAA's transfer portal in March and is intends to leave South Carolina, Andrew Ramspacher of The Columbia State reports.
ANALYSIS
The sophomore center suited up in 28 career games for the Gamecocks and averaged 1.1 points and 0.9 rebounds per contest, but was sidelined for the final two months of the 2018-19 campaign due to a dislocated left knee. The 7-foot-1 Cudd could receive a medical redshirt for the injury-shortened campaign, which would leave him with up to three years of eligibility at his next stop. If he moves on to another Division I program, however, Cudd may have to sit out the 2019-20 campaign unless the NCAA grants him a waiver extending him immediate eligibility.
