Happ finished Monday's game against Illinois with six points (3-7 FG, 0-3 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Happ was limited to a season-low six points on the night, although his team managed to step up and squeak out a 64-58 victory at the Kohl Center. It's worth pointing out that Happ wasn't on the court for the final minutes in a tightly-contested game, as Greg Gard elected to keep him on the bench due to struggles from the free-throw line, where Happ has missed his last 11 attempts. This could be a strategy that's implemented more often if the senior forward remains a liability at the charity stripe. With Happ riding the bench for the last few minutes, it was Brevin Pritzl who found himself on the floor in a big spot.
