Series/tournament name: The Ashes

England and Australia will be battling it out in the third Test of the 2019 Ashes series, starting from Thursday in Leeds. The visitors are in the lead after registering a thumping win in the series opener, therefore, they will go in the match as favourites.
After losing play at Lord's, eventually resulting in a draw, the weather during the match is likely to stay fine throughout the third Test.
Traditionally, the pitch is expected to be a good one for batting with help for seamers.
Australia have suffered a major blow before the third Test as in-form Steve Smith has been ruled out of the match due to concussion after being hit by a ball during the first innings of the second Test.
Probable Playing XI:
In the absence of Smith, there will be added responsibility on the likes of out-of-form David Warner, Cameron Bancroft, Mathew Wade and Travis Head to score bulk of the runs, whereas on the bowling front, the onus will be on the likes of in-form Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon to provide timely breakthroughs.
England will be coming in the match high on confidence
