Warriors Defeat Hornets, 130-121
The Golden State Warriors defeated the visiting Charlotte Hornets,130-121, at Chase Center on Friday.

Golden State led 36-28 after the first quarter and rode a 30-23 second quarter to a 15-point halftime lead. They took a 19-point lead into the final quarter and Charlotte never got within six points after those first three quarters. The Warriors shot 61 percent from the field, 46 percent from three-point range and 92 percent from the free-throw line while holding the Hornets to 46 percent from the field, 42 percent from long range and 69 percent from the charity stripe. In addition, Golden State out-assisted Charlotte, 38-27.

The Hornets (15-17) were led by Terry Rozier and his 24 points, two rebounds and three assists. Lamelo Ball collected 22 points, seven rebounds and six assists. P.J. Washington had 15 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals. Malik Monk led the bench with 25 points and five rebounds. Gordon Hayward had 12 points, two rebounds, five assists and two steals.

The Warriors (19-15) were led by Stephen Curry, tallying 29 points, four rebounds and nine assists. Kelly Oubre generated 27 points, six rebounds and three assists. Andrew Wiggins amassed 17 points, three rebounds and three assists. Draymond Green collected 11 points, 12 rebounds and 19 assists. James Wiseman led the bench with 16 points.

These teams return to action on Sunday, with Charlotte staying on the West Coast to face the Sacramento Kings and Golden State traveling to play the Los Angeles Lakers.
