Bulls Dispatch Rockets, 120-100
The Chicago Bulls defeated the Houston Rockets, 120-100, at Toyota Center on Monday night.

The Bulls (14-16) checked into Monday's matchup riding some modest momentum with a 4-2 mark over the previous six games, but the Rockets (11-18) looked reasonably sharp in their return to action following a pair of weather-related postponements. Houston trailed by a manageable six points at intermission, but Chicago subsequently exploded for 46 points in the third quarter to push their advantage to an insurmountable 26 points.

Coby White led the way with 24 points, adding 10 rebounds, two assists and one block. Zach LaVine followed with 21 points, complementing them with six assists and five boards. Wendell Carter, Jr. posted an 18-point, 13-rebound double-double that also included one assist, three blocks and two steals. Thaddeus Young supplied 17 points, eight boards and five assists. Patrick Williams furnished 14 points, seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block. Tomas Satoransky provided 10 points.

David Nwaba paced the Rockets with 22 points, supplementing them with nine rebounds, two assists and two steals. Sterling Brown registered 16 points, four boards and two assists. Danuel House and John Wall generated matching 15-point tallies while recording six rebounds and seven assists, respectively. Jae'Sean Tate finished with 12 points, eight rebounds, two assists and three steals.

The Bulls head back home to face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night, while the Rockets hit the road and visit the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night as well.
